Great breakfast - friendly service - views. We arrived to find a spectacular view and thought we'd found the perfect hotel. From looking at the pictures this looks like a fabulous hotel in a picturesque setting. However, there was one rather big issue. Once inside our apartment, hornets began to appear, one by one.

I trapped and removed 4 and thought that was it. The next morning, I woke up , got out of bed and stepped on a hornet, which stung me and was so painful I cried. We soon found more hornets crawling around on the floor and the windows. This carried on for the entirety of our stay, despite consistently letting the hosts know how awful this was making our stay. After icing my foot, I went to reception and said I'd been stung and that there was an insect issue in our apartment.

I was given some insect bite cream and advised that George would come check the apartment when we left in the afternoon. I was actually unable to leave the apartment that day because my foot had swelled and I couldnt walk on it at all. A whole day wasted. I asked to change rooms because I knew I would struggle to go up and down the many many stairs with a swollen foot, however we were never offered a change of room.

The next day, George came to check the apartment and we showed him where we thought the hornets were coming from in the wooden roof and that it looked like there was a nest nearby.

He said he'd sort it. George never did sort it. Every morning at breakfast we were asked 'is it ok now? At the end of the stay I requested a refund which was refused. The hornet infestation ruined our holiday.

Very friendly, relaxing hotel. Our rooms were comfortable. The room was really sweet but very small. A hook for the shower head would be useful for hair washing. Sharp knives and chopping board for easier self catering would be good. Pretty gardens, lovely views, nice pool area and good choice for breakfast. The breakfast could use some more variety, for longer stays it tends to get repetitive. Furthermore, you had to pay for coffee if you wanted an espresso variant, which is unacceptable for the price that you pay for the room. Also the breakfast area was very crowded and there were only a few seats available with shade.

The pool could have been cleaner. The water pressure was a little low. The Wi-Fi was really slow and only available in public areas. The view from the room was great sea view , the breakfast was delicious and homemade and it was relatively near to the main city up the hill so beware of the many steps.

The windows had anti-mosquito nets and the bed was comfortable to sleep. The cleaning was done daily and it was good. Everything was perfect except for the call 10min before check-out time that kicked us out of the room.

George and Iliana were exceptional hosts, and their hotel is clean, modern and with lovely personal touches throughout. Their hotel is situated near the top of the town so our room had sweeping views of the bay which were unbeatable. The breakfast was delicious with lots of options to choose from.
